Just started out and looking for welcoming spots in London where I won't get eaten alive. Any recommendations for beginner-friendly nights?

Angel Comedy at the Camden Head is super welcoming. Also try The Mirth Control nights in Camden — they're great for first-timers.
Seconding Angel Comedy. The crowd is friendly and the other acts are supportive. Avoid the Gong Show until you've got 5 mins solid.
