Question 1

How do I keep track of all my comedy gigs and venues?

Accepted Answer

Gigs end up scattered across DMs, a phone calendar and your memory — and the details that would help you next time just disappear. The Gig Calendar keeps every booked gig in one place with the venue, location, time, notes and the exact routine version you plan to perform. You always know what is coming, where it is and which set you are doing — and you can link the specific version of your set to each gig so there is no confusion about what you rehearsed.

Question 2

How do I remember which jokes worked at which gig?

Accepted Answer

This is the real value — after every show you do a quick post-gig review: rate the venue, the organisers and the audience (age, gender mix, demographics, how they responded), and rate each individual piece you performed as Smashed It, Worked, Average or Bombed. Those ratings are stored against that version of the routine and linked to the audience data, so over time you build a real record of what landed where, instead of a fuzzy feeling that fades by the next day.

Question 3

What should I do after a stand-up gig to improve?

Accepted Answer

The single most useful habit is a structured post-gig review, and the Gig Calendar makes it quick. Rate the venue and the organiser (so you know which rooms to chase or avoid), capture the audience (age, gender, demographic, how they responded), and rate each piece you performed. Every review feeds your Audience insights, so patterns emerge — which bits consistently bomb, which crowds love you, which version of the set killed. The more you review, the clearer the picture, and the faster your next set gets better.

Question 4

Can I attach the set I am going to perform to a gig?

Accepted Answer

Yes — when you add a gig you pick the routine version you will perform, and after the gig your piece ratings are saved against that exact version. So you can see, for any gig, which set you did and how each piece in it went — no more guessing which version you did at that club.
