When do you stop changing your five and just let it settle?

I’m at the point where I can always find *something* to tweak before the next gig — one shorter setup, a different word, swapping two bits around. Useful at first, but I’m wondering if constant editing means I never actually learn how the same set behaves across different rooms. Do you ever deliberately freeze a five for a few gigs before changing it again?
